Messe München has a new ticket shop. For exhibitors this makes the job of managing invitations to their customers much for transparent. The change for visitors is that they now get a digital entrance ticket.
This new digital entrance ticket is downloaded onto all devices in the form of a 2D barcode. So, in future visitors can save their tickets on their smartphone, tablet or smartwatch and print out their own individual trade-fair badge at the turnstiles at BAU. Alternatively they can print out a Print@home-Ticket in advance.
Another advantage for visitors to the show is the social log-in. This is a fast and uncomplicated way to log in to the ticket shop via Facebook, LinkedIn or Xing accounts. As well as that it enables visitors to communicate on social media about their experience at the show and in that way link up with other visitors.
Exhibitors benefit above all from improved and easier-to-track invitations management. Here they can order and administer exhibitor passes for their employees as well as vouchers for customers and potential business partners. With the aid of so-called “campaigns,” vouchers can be sent to customers direct from the ordering system. The exhibitors can check any time who has registered tickets and redeemed vouchers.
